Mum & Daughter Duo

NEELAM

When I moved to Moscow from New Zealand, nearly three years ago, I was exposed to many unique experiences; living in -30c was one of them! In addition to looking for super warm  clothes and accessories, I really wanted to look elegant and  stylish (who doesn't right?). I remember the first time I saw these vibrant vintage scarves, I just knew I had to have one. They are so effortlessly stylish, warm, soft, cozy, and so very wearable. They just add so much "ooomph" to my outfits. I love it when the bright magical colours peep out from the neckline of a coat, or simply create a statement when worn on solid coloured tops and dresses. These scarves always make me smile when I see them in my wardrobe and I can't help but get a warm fuzzy feeling somewhere in my heart. So I thought why not share my passion for these scarves with the rest of the world!  Our scarves come straight from Russia to you. Let your scarf affair begin!

SHEENA

I started an affair with scarves at the age of 16 and haven't stopped since. When I moved to the UK from Australia, I wanted a warm and durable scarf, that was unique and stylish at the same time, and that would make me look good in my travel photos around Europe! I came across scarves that were either warm but with plain boring colours or colourful but not warm at all. Some decent warm scarves were so thick and heavy that they made my neck very sore.  Then my mum gifted me a couple of these beautiful vintage Russian scarves and I just fell in love with them. The vibrant and striking patterns on these scarves are what I like best. They add so much glamour to my outfits. And because they are made of pure wool, they keep me warm and snug. These scarves are light weight and super comfortable to use and I often double them up as shawls or head wraps when I'm out in the chilly winters. I thought if I enjoy these scarves so much, so will others. Thats when my mum and I decided to start My Scarf Affair to share these timelessly classic and definitely sexy scarves with you! So let your scarf affair begin!
